Because vehicles result in land impact and also contribute to lag, we have chosen to issue the following rules regarding vehicle usage:

 

-Vehicle use is restricted to Lannock County citizens who rent homes on our regions and their subtenants, or the very few ranking FD and PD members who are issued their own vehicles by the Lannock County Mayor (Jet Lannock) or Lannock County Manager (Violet Bearsfoot) -OR- the department shared fire and law enforcement vehicles.  

 

-Vehicle prim count goes against the land impact restriction of your home.  For example, if you are renting a home with 500 Land impact and your vehicle is 50 land impact, if you choose to use your vehicle you should restrict your home decor to 450 land impact because your vehicle counts.   This counts for you, and your subtenants.  

 

- We have tried to reserve enough prims to allow our renters the use of vehicles on our regions, and as a renter, you may drive on all Lannock County regions; however, during a large event or busy sim-wide events, we reserve the right to ask that you leave vehicles at home or just avoid driving on certain regions.

-When you leave Lannock County to go to other Second Life Regions or when you log out, your vehicle must be returned to your driveway unless you have special permission from the Lannock County Mayor or Lannock County Manager to leave a vehicle somewhere for roleplay purposes (stolen car etc).   The exception is any vehicle parked at the shop for "repairs".  Otherwise, your vehicle may be returned.  We are not responsible for lost no copy items.  Please use copy vehicles.
